Studio Intent takes over Shisomiso
We've got some great news! Althought Shisomiso is now closed, Studio Intent will be opening up in its place. Chantal Barchard is the brains and talent behind the new operation in the same space Shisomiso has called home for the 6 last years. Chantal is a Chartered Accountant working in Finance by day, and a sewing hobbyist and novice pattern drafter in her free time. Her attraction to design and fashion began at a young age as she draped clothing on her dress-form fashion doll and drafted fashion designs with her “Fashion Plates” play set. She has a particular fondness for repurposing clothing and design details into unique and new pieces.
The great thing is that she intends on keeping the space the same. Same content, concept and in fact, even the same fixtures. The only difference is the name and the brains behind the operation. Irene and Vicky of Shisomiso are very excited about this transition that will allow them to move on to new opportunities knowing that this ship will be in good hands and will go on sailing without them.
