We asked the questions, Have you ‘branded’ your name? Your wedding? Your life? Do you like to wear brand name clothing or accessories? How has international corporate branding affected our culture? Do you or do you know someone who has literally branded themselves instead of a tattoo? How does the practice of branding animals affect your taste for meat? As usual the theme is open to the artist interpretation...

One Blue Wall Gallery: This Is My City (TMC) is hosting the third annual Tip Your Hat exhibition at Art Central.  TMC is a not for profit organization that uses the arts to create awareness about the issues of homelessness and poverty in Calgary.  There will be an auction on July 13th - all contributions will be directly applied to further artistic opportunities for those living within these marginalized communities.  There will also be a Hat making workshop with all the supplies you need to create your own Stampede style!
