Yes Virginia, there is parking downtown

These boots were made for walkin’, but that’s not what they’ll do.
I’ve got my parking mantra and some bubblegum to chew.
I’m envisioning that perfect spot, the one that everyone wants.
I’m driving to Art Central, to do a little shop.

Who says there are no spaces?
Is it you or you or you?
Well, I’ve done a bunch of research and plenty of photographs too.

I went to four parkades, to hunt for evidence of urban lore.
I’m disproving the myth that there is NOWHERE to park, in this busy downtown core.

I hear it every day, that parking here is a pain.
Well, if that’s the case, as you say it is, why not fly your plane?
You can take it to the top of the Bow, the Bow Parkade that is.
Have you seen the runway at the airport, well it looks a lot like this.
Over thirty empty spots, on this one level alone.
It was the same three floors under, at the parkades below.

Now get yourself on down here.
The art is worth the trip.
And as it goes for parking, we should all just get a grip.
