4th Annual Winter Art Stroll: Photomontage/Montage

in conjunction with the Triangle Gallery of Visual Art

  
This Winter Art Stroll will be organized in conjunction with the opening of the Triangle Gallery's exhibition "2008 Alberta Contemporary Photography", which will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 7:30 pm.  Curated by Arthur Nishimura and Marc "Hutch" Hutchinson, two eminent Calgary-based conceptual photographers and independent curators, this invitational exhibition  will re-examine the photographic object in the context of traditional and contemporary photographic practices. Participating artists include: Mitch Kern, Sarah Fuller, Stacey Watson, Linh Ly, Michael Coolidge and Tara Nicholson.

 

Art Stroll at Art Central

Art Central's galleries and studios are collaborating on the theme of contemporary photography , photomontage/photo-collage and, in painting, the aspect of photo-realism, with the following events and exhibitions:
