Featuring Artists from across Canada and the US
Gig posters are inspiration on a dirty wall, temporary beauty in the rough and tumble world of rock and roll. Gig posters are created on crazy deadlines, the jobs don’t pay too well, and bands are added at the last minute, wreaking havoc on design. This show is a chance for real gig poster artists---fresh from the music mines---to have a bit of fun. Whether it’s band names thought up at 4 AM over fries ‘n gravy at the Blackfoot Truck Stop or a dream bill at a nightmare venue, these gigfauxsters are a peek at an alternate reality that might scare you…or make you laugh.
