 ngs\, artist demonstration\, live music\, and the 4th Annual fashion sho
 w by the students of the Alberta College of Art &#38\; Design’s Wearab
 le Art Class taught by Dee Fontans.\n\n\n	Art: New Vogue Strikes a Pose\
 n\n\n	The Alberta College of Art + Design (ACAD) Wearable Art – Object
  and Body class  of 2007\, produced the exhibition in motion titled “A
 rt: New Vogue.”  The fashion performance will be held First Thursday o
 n November 1\, 2007\, at 8PM in celebration of Art Central’s third bir
 thday party.\n\n\n	Instructor Dee Fontans works with eighteen students o
 f interdisciplinary practices who come together to create dynamic\, radi
 cal clothing.  Concepts explored deal with issues of gender\, nature\, a
 nd the use of alternative materials and garments.  While the performance
  initially provides venue for the emerging artists to make connections b
 etween object and body\, they are also given a chance to exhibit their m
 ultifaceted talents in sound and music.  Heather Rose Johnson\, Kiwanis 
 Music Festival gold metal award winner\, will be performing accapella\, 
 alongside classmates Alexandra Burdeyney\, and Michelle Sparks to kick o
 ff a night filled with fireworks.\n\n\n	Danielle French\n\n\n	Danielle w
 ill be playing from 5pm-8pm\n\n\n	Danielle’s third full-length indepen
 dent CD\, Shadows\, has been described as “beautiful strangeness”. D
 iscovering melodies that are somewhat strange\, yet somehow familiar\, D
 anielle cruises through the ether\, as well as the underworld\, with art
 ists such as Jane Siberry and Tom Waits. Shadows features a variety of g
 uest musicians including Martin Tielli (Rheostatics)\, who played bizarr
 e and beautiful guitars and also leant his gorgeous voice to this projec
 t.\n\n\n	Danielle has toured relentlessly throughout North America-. Car
