Studio Todorovic offers adult art classes, accomodating both groups (maximum of 5 people) and private instruction.
Rate: $250 + gst for 5 weeks of instruction, 3 hours per evening, once a week. You will receive a materials kit worth $50 when you enroll for class. Materials and class instruction fee are NON REFUNDABLE after you complete the first class.
Age group for all classes: 18+ only please.

Acrylics - An Introduction
Mondays; May 11, 18, 25, June 1 & 8
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (3 hours)

Acrylic paint is a versatile and easy-to-learn medium. It dries quickly and can be manipulated to do anything – from landscape painting to sculptural abstracts, we will show you painting techniques to get you started with acrylics. You will build skills and learn about washes & glazes, impasto, drawing, colour theory, composition and more. Classes are structured using projects, lessons, and in-class assignments.
Oils - Beginner to Intermediate
Tuesdays; May 12, 19, 26, June 2 & 9
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (3 hours)
$250+gst
This will be an introduction to oil painting with some drawing involved, so even if you have never picked up a brush, we can teach you how to paint in oils. We can also accommodate students with some oil painting experience. We cover basics such as value scale, color wheel, still life painting, figurative, landscape, and we may also cover abstract painting. Traditional techniques will be used and covered in the class. These include: Alla prima painting, Glazing, Impasto, Wet on Wet, and Mixed Media with oils.
Drawing - Some experience an asset
Wednesdays; May 13, 20, 27, June 3 & 10
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (3 hours)

Drawing is the foundation of all artistic disciplines. Come and join a class that will develop your observational skills through the exploration of sketching, still life, landscape, and portraiture. You will also learn to understand basic perspective, composition and value. Learn how to use different materials to perform a variety of techniques to find your personal artistic handwriting.
