DESCRIPTION:TNG presents Seasonal Effective\nThe third annual installment
  of TNG&rsquo\;s educational initiative providing &ldquo\;real\nworld&rd
 quo\; curatorial experience to senior art students\, this year&rsquo\;s 
 exhibition\nwill feature works from ACAD selected by Jenna Swift\, a stu
 dent from the\nUniversity of Calgary&rsquo\;s Art History program\, who 
 has curated an exhibition\nwhich explores the effect of environmental fa
 ctors on the internal weather of\nthe psychological condition. This exhi
 bition title is a variation on the mood\ndisorder clinically known as Se
 asonal Affective Disorder. The onset of\nthis condition conventionally o
 ccurs in winter\, as the temperature drops and\ndays grow shorter. The t
 yranny of winter manifests itself in subtle and\ninsidious ways\, causin
 g us to withdraw from the world outside.  Seasonal\nEffective will seek 
 to reveal the mental processes which follow this retreat.\nFriday Februa
