TNG presents Horse & Sparrow by Marilou Lemmens and Richard Ibghy
(Vancouver, BC)
As the global economy continues to limp out of it's worst recession in over
half-a-century, this timely multi-media installation will examine linguistic
and pictorial representations usually associated with economic discourse. The
exhibition questions both the forms and methods historically used to think through
and communicate macro socio-economic policies. Combining impertinence with
in-depth research and critical reduction, this method of invoking existing
languages to question established convention is fundamental to the
collaborative practice of these Vancouver-based artists.
