 d in Bassano\, Alberta\nand Graduated from ACAD in 2006.  She left Calga
 ry in 2008 to pursue a\nfull-time painting career in Saskatchewan. It wa
 s there that she found her\nsanctuary amongst the magnificent fields and
  luminous skies. A young artist of\njust twenty-eight reveals a fresh st
 yle that impacts viewers and invites them\nto enter the moment and just 
 be.&rdquo\; Lindsey has been a resident artist at Swirl\nFine Art since 
 its inception\, and is now represented in galleries throughout\nWestern 
 Canada.\nGrowing up on the prairies has given Lindsey a particular aesth
 etic. She\nis drawn to subject matter that has a minimal\, spacious and 
 peaceful quality.\nHer desire is to create invitations to contemplation 
 and to counter hastiness.\n&ldquo\;It is through contemplation that one 
 becomes truly aware and open to life: to\nthe beauty and transcendences 
 in the ordinary. I paint what I know so that the\ntruth of my own experi
 ence will resonate with the viewer\, and will invite them\nto enter the 
 moment and just be.&rdquo\;
