JUMA is a fashion design company specializing in mens and womens contemporary ready-to-wear. Alia and Jamil Juma founded JUMA with a commitment to quality and innovation. The line is a fresh interpretation of knitwear and jersey basics mixed with directional accent pieces.
"For JUMA, we take inspirations from our travels and our friends who work in artistic and creative industries. For fall our inspiration was nature from canada fused with tribal designs from the Inuit and parts of India. we drew illustrations as well as took photos and meshed them together to create the scarves. Then we overlayed the borders generally used in inuit art and sari borders from india. That was the process of the fall scarf collection."
