Would you like to own something which is so desirable that everyone else wishes they had it? That’s why this new concept gallery/ boutique/ studio is named Looks Could Kill Art Boutique! Focusing on Lowbrow art / Pop Surrealism and new art movements, LCKAB is dedicated to providing a venue for artists and designers who explore new territories in art. The pieces shown range from paintings and sculpture, to artist made garments and jewellery. Art openings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month showcasing new work, often with the artist in attendance. As well as art shows, independant designers from across Canada send new collections of jewellery, clothing and accessories as they are created, ensuring one of a kind, and limited run pieces which are availlable only at LCKAB!

Owner/designer Jennifer McCaw spent years travelling the world, collecting artist-made fashion and art. She then headed to Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where, in 2001, she received a BFA, majoring in jewellery design and metalsmithing. After a few years working as a buyer of garments and jewellery in Los Angeles and Vancouver, Jen returned to her hometown Calgary to follow her passion and open LCKAB. Drawing inspiration from her favorite galleries and boutiques worldwide, Jen has created a space where one is able to find exciting, one of a kind artwork for your home and body. Come check it out often as collections are always changing!
